Oxford Energy Podcast – Indian upstream taxation and the potential impact on the Indian gas market

In this latest Oxford Energy podcast Anupama Sen, a Senior Research Fellow at OIES, is in conversation with James Henderson on the subject of recent changes in Indian upstream taxation and the potential impact on the Indian gas market. The Indian government has set out an ambitious target to reduce energy imports by increasing domestic production, which could also encourage a greater use of gas in the domestic energy economy. To date progress has been slow, and this podcast explores the potential for an acceleration over the next five years driven by investment in domestic production.
