OIES will lead a research effort in applying Circular Economy concepts to decarbonization of the energy system, involving multiple actors – conceptualised as Circular Energy Economy – relevant to national and regional governments, cities, energy companies and energy-exporting economies. The topic will be considered from the perspective of analysing economic and policy cases for efficient decarbonization and risk mitigation in the Energy Transition.
