Dr Xiaohan Gong is a researcher specializing in energy law and investment law, with a particular focus on China. She has carried out regulatory analyses of China’s overseas energy investments and has discussed the policy and regulatory development of China’s emerging hydrogen economy. Prior to OIES, she worked with the Research Institute for Sustainability (Helmholtz Center, Potsdam). Dr Xiaohan Gong obtained her PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021.
For her OIES-Aramco Fellowship, she will continue monitoring China’s policy and regulatory strategies for hydrogen development.
