Indra Overland is Research Professor and Head of the Centre for Energy Research at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). At OIES, he works on energy issues in Southeast Asia.

Professor Overland holds a BA, MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge and has twice been a Visiting Fellow at the ASEAN Centre for Energy in Jakarta. He has been published in Nature Energy; awarded the Marcel Cadieux Prize, the Toby Jackman Prize and the Kjetil Stuland Prize and his work included in ‘Kemp’s Best in Energy’ (Reuters).
