Ahmad Mohammad Aldabbagh

Ahmad Mohammad Aldabbagh joined the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies in 2023. His primary focus is on advancing oil demand and supply forecasting and energy policy analytics using data science techniques. At OIES, he develops machine learning models for oil demand and supply prediction.
Before joining OIES, Ahmad led data analytics efforts in both public and private energy sectors, encompassing economic development projects, energy modeling, and data analytics. His tenure includes impactful work at Harvard’s Growth Lab and significant contributions in energy policy impact studies and machine learning applications at Saudi Aramco, enhancing asset integrity and operational cost savings.
Ahmad holds a Master’s in Public Administration specializing in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics from Harvard University. He also earned an M.S. in Computer Science, focusing on Machine Learning, from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
