Oxford Energy Forum
A Quarterly Journal for Debating Energy Issues and Policies.
The purpose of Oxford Energy Forum (OEF) is to provide a quarterly forum that is dedicated to the debate of topical subjects of concern to the energy world. Every issue usually carries two discussion topics, each addressed by way of short articles by contributors of differing approach or argument. Responses from the readership for publication in the OEF are invited and welcomed as they form an essential part of the debate. The aim of OEF is to stimulate an interaction between individuals from differing points of view and differing interests within the energy debate – governments and industry, producers and consumers. In character the OEF corresponds exactly to the known purpose and activities of the O xford Institute for Energy Studies. It pursues the same objectives as the annual Oxford Energy Seminar and the regular meetings of the Oxford Energy Policy Club, sister institutions of the OIES, where debate has been conducted verbally for years. Oxford Energy Forum is addressed to all energy professionals – policy-makers, industry executives, economists and so on – and to all individuals in other walks of life who have an interest in energy matters. To request a printed subscription to the Oxford Energy Forum please email Margaret Ko.
