Ian Wybrew-Bond

Senior Research Advisor

Is an independent gas consultant advising on world wide gas developments and the strategic appraisal of market liberalisation. From working for over 30 years in Shell, he has extensive experience in the development of complex integrated energy projects, in negotiations with host governments, and in the management of joint ventures. This covered LNG project development in Qatar, Australia, Japan, Nigeria, and Oman, as well as the pipeline gas business in Western Europe (including managing the commercialisation of Shell's North Sea gas interests at the time of UK market liberalisation).

Since retiring from Shell he has been a research adviser to OIES and edited and co-authored two books ‘Gas to Europe' and ‘Gas in Asia' , is a senior associate with CERA, and a non executive director of Saipem. He is currently the OIES company secretary.
