Renfeng Zhao
Research Fellow
Renfeng Zhao joined the Institute in 2007 to participate in a project on balanced clean development in China. His work focuses on China’s energy strategy and development policies, and China’s energy diplomacy and its geopolitical implications. Previously, he worked at China Daily as energy and finance correspondent from 1997 to 2005. He holds a double master’s degree in Journalism and Global Studies from EU Erasmus Mundus Programme. He was a Parvin/Freedom Forum Fellow at the University of Hawaii and the East-West Center
